What is AdventuriQ?
Gamification Platform
AdventuriQ is a general-purpose gamification platform, designed for anyone who wants to create game experiences that engage and activate people.
Creating an Adventure requires no technical knowledge whatsoever: from our creation environment, you can build your gamified project — tailored, hassle-free, and in any language you need.
Once your game experience is ready, deploy it instantly to players’ smartphones, tablets, and laptops via any web browser — using our Progressive Web App at https://webapp.adventuriq.com. Monitor everything in real time.
Our platform also lets you prototype a gamification project in record time — agile, efficient, and at a very low cost.
We provide the technology: a Gamified Content Management System and a free Progressive Web App so your participants can play your gamified experience from their smartphones, tablets, and computers.
DO IT YOURSELF
Do It Yourself: once you’ve designed and planned your game experience, simply use our Gamified Content Management System —Gamifier— to bring it to life using the game mechanics we provide. Then test the player experience using our free Progressive Web App via a web browser from your phone, tablet, and/or computer, and visualize all the statistical data available directly from the creation environment.

How does our gamification platform work?
From our platform, the gamification designer or Game Designer accesses our Gamified Content Management System via a web browser and designs the Adventure: deciding how many Missions there will be and how many Challenges (and of what type) participants must complete.
Missions can be locked with QR codes or alphanumeric codes. You can also set them to become visible from a specific date and time, or make them always visible but deactivated (non-playable) until a set date and time — and then lock them again once another date and time has passed.
Challenges can be geolocated at a specific physical spot or set as indoor. You can assign Points independently — whether or not the player completes the Challenge — and configure associated Rewards based on performance, completion time, or by capping the number of available Rewards, among many other options available to you as a designer.
Once the experience is ready, the Game Designer must publish it and share a Game PIN or QR code so participants can load and play it on their smartphones, tablets, and/or computers via a web browser using our free Progressive Web App, and enjoy the experience.
Participants simply need a web browser to access our free Progressive Web App — and the enthusiasm to dive into a unique experience and, why not, earn rewards based on their achievements and actions.
The Game Designer can monitor everything in real time: the leaderboard, which challenges a specific participant is completing, participation stats for each Challenge, what players have done, what they answered, what photos they shared in the Adventure gallery, and more.
We also offer the option to customize our Progressive Web App with your brand colors and corporate logos.

Which Online Adventures can I play?
From our Progressive Web App, you can load as many Adventures as you have Game PINs for.
Think of it like a video game console: the Progressive Web App is the console that lets you play in a web browser, and the “game cartridges” you load into it are the Adventures.

Turn the entire City into a massive Game Board, locking Missions and Challenges by GPS location. Unless you’re within X meters of the Challenge’s coordinates, it simply can’t be played.
Workplace Safety
Using Challenges like Photo Sharing, Q&A, Chained Questions, or Call-to-Action, you can assess your employees’ knowledge of Workplace Safety protocols — or measure how quickly they reach Emergency Exits from a given location, and much more.
Commercial Space Promotion
Whether for a Pop Up Store or a Shopping Centre, AdventuriQ lets you manage Events and Adventures to build Brand Engagement and drive commercial dynamics — one-off or as themed ongoing campaigns. Automatically capturing personal data in full GDPR compliance.
Game Components
Points
Every participant or team is awarded points as they complete challenges and tasks throughout the experience.
Rewards
Every time a Challenge is completed, reward your players with recognition, a Clue, or a Code to unlock the next Challenge.
Prizes
Prizes can be awarded based on your game design — at Challenge level or upon completing a full Mission (a set of Challenges).
Ranking
Live leaderboard of all participants, accessible at any time through the Progressive Web App, and during post-game analysis via the Gamifier.
Challenges
Completing Missions and Challenges: players can choose to compete or collaborate among participants and prove who is the best.
Locks
Access to Challenges and Missions is locked by Alphanumeric Code, QR code, or GPS (geolocation) — requiring participants to physically be within a minimum distance of the challenge’s location.
Countdown
Add pressure by setting a time limit for players to complete a Challenge.
Narrative
What is Gamification without a Narrative? AdventuriQ lets you deploy a story — a story telling — that immerses and motivates participants within a specific setting.
Send them to explore hidden Planets in the Universe, or unravel a murder mystery in Victorian London with Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde.
Art
Art is an essential element supporting and enriching the Narrative. Our gamification platform lets you adapt an Adventure and bring it to life with custom Art created for its setting.
Media
Need to narrate the upcoming Challenge with an Audio or Video? Our Progressive Web App natively supports .MP3 audio files and lets you embed a YouTube video within the Narrative section of your gamified design.
Choose Your Adventure
Want your Adventure to be Epic? Give your Adventure multiple Endings so players face an uncertain fate — made possible by the interlocking of locked Missions that our platform lets you design and deploy.
Types of Challenges, Missions and Quests AVAILABLE
We improve our gamification platform every day to give you more options for designing your game experience. AdventuriQ currently offers the following Challenge types.
Question & Answer
A challenge where a question is posed and the player must select one or more correct answers.
Chained Questions
A sequence of “n” Q&A challenges presented in rapid-fire succession, with no feedback on player actions until the entire Chained Questions challenge is complete.
Photo Sharing
Participants must take a photo (selfie, face-painting challenge, wearing a costume or safety gear, etc.) and share it in the Adventure’s photo gallery.
Open Answer
A question is posed and the participant must write their own answer. Once submitted, a confirmation email is sent containing their response.
Call to Action
The Game Designer proposes actions for players to complete, without automatic validation. It’s the perfect bridge between the physical and digital worlds.
